I'm sorry, you lose.

But seriously, If I had translation skills, I'd do it.

here's a very quickly wrought translation -

capricious ninny
on a lonely day you call my name
ninny, gentle ninny
you told a sad lie just once but...

ninny, capricious ninny
bit by bit you're becoming an adult
ninny, gentle ninny
you lost only one dream in the night

ninny
the truth is
that without tears, without a sound
ninny
you where crying

ninny
I'm sure
no matter who's you are
you're probably not feeling uneasy
that feeling doesn't fade
I loved you so much that I tremble each time i turn and remember

ninny, capricious ninny
ninny,
gentle ninny
ninny, farewell, ninny
ninny

I'll get around to good-english-ing it sometime (or perhaps someone else will?). I don't know what the crap that 'sazu' ending means <EDIT: see the following illuminating post by mare for the benefit of your own crumpled brain>, and there are a couple of other parts I was a bit sketchy on, but well, I've gotta get sleeping, so no quests for further understanding this evening...

by the by, you should all watch tekkon kinkuriito <鉄コン筋クリート>, it really - really really - rocks. look up a trailer on youtube or something, i think it might be more commonly english-ized as tekkon kinkreet. If folks want I'll try to get on soul seek sometime and share it out, or aim it or whatever...

(consonant)azu (ni) ending means without doing the verb you've got the ending attached to. :)

edit:

nanimo shirazu ni waratteita
(laughing without knowing anything)

Thank you kindly sir! And a useful [not too mention rather cool sounding] bit of grammar that is :0)

Yeah, it's one of the rather awesome bits of Japanese grammar that cuts down the time it takes to say something, lol. Nice translation there, I hope you have time to work on more translations in the future, too, Snigwel. :D

thanks mare, i'd like to make time to work at some more translations, though I'm not sure whether pillows' or locals'...

btw, you haven't made up a list of what's left to be translated have you? I mean you've been translating a LOT of stuff man - which, by the way, is freaking awesome. There really needs to be a massive update of the lyrics section of the main site sometime, though I suppose that could happen once everything is translated...

Well, Whatever's not on the main site or in the lyrics section needs to be done, lol. And I need to look over and update my translations/check for mistakes.

:( I know. I could always go and copy all of the lyrics in the forum into text files for easy access, but I'm too lazy to go through each one for that. :dizzy: But I have been saying the lyrics needs to be updated... and the main page... and other stuff.

Post I agree
I agree w/ Snigwel ... thnx to the FORUM we've got many translations that the main "Lyrics" href does not, which is quite the boon, but isn't exactly ideal for the entire site.

What I really intend to say is ... is there any way for us @ pirouzu.net to help those who add lyrics to the Forum bring those contributions to the main lyrics.html page?!

We have a wonderful resource here but it is too removed from our main reference www.pirouzu.net/lyrics.html

If there is any work that needs to be done to streamline this process can I help?!

Well, terra added a bunch of my romanizations like a year ago (though she missed the pantomime and 90's my life/90'smlreturns ones), but she seems to be a bit busy with life lately to update things on the site, which is totally understandable.

She added a tab submission thing, but with the lyrics everything would need to be checked and approved by somebody before putting them up on the main site, and it would be better to avoid double-posting them. I kind of think it'd also be good to arrange the lyrics page a little better as well, but yeah, that'd take a lot of work and time.

Aye, but not even the songs are listed in all of the albums properly. Three songs in Living Field? Blah, blah, blah, yadda, yadda, yadda. Would it be a bad idea if she could let Sherlock Jomes work on the case of getting the site updated since he's a mod? I figure if he's trustworthy enough to be a mod, he's prolly trustworthy enough for that.
