Post the killing field
I was writing a paper on how historical events can be related to issues in a certain book I'm reading and came across something.

I was wondering what "the killing field" is about and if it has anything to do with The Killing Fields in Cambodia? Or is it just a coincidence and the song's only about how harsh the desert is?

I just think it'd be cool if it was you know

I don't think any of us can say for sure. Just look at the lyrics and see what you think about it. I don't know.

These might just be coincidences but still pretty interesting

I doubt it's a coincidence, if it's a movie then Sawao's probably seen it and probably the basis of Living Field. Good work dude.

I hope it isn't just a coincidence.
Yeah that's what I was thinking too....since he's into movies he probably saw this one especially since its a british movie that was produced in the 1970's (sorta what sawao's taste were in that time period). But I'm only guessing for now because I still dont see how that cambodian incident is related to "the killing field" or even the entire album. Other than "Happy Slave" nothing really stands out.

Just incase anyone whats to know about the film or The Killing Fields incident in Cambodia I'll put these up.
