Will my story have a happy ending, or will I be without the one I love? Will you still not be with me when it ends? I had a long dream Where I was following you, And you were walking in line right in front of me. Alarm clock bell, Please wait just a little bit longer. du du duwa du du duwa du du duwa du I've missed my chance to walk on a tightrope. Lately it seems I've just been waiting to fall. Being with you takes my balance away. I'm swaying every day. All the puzzle pieces will fall into place. That's what I feel. That's what I believe, While in the blue sky. du du duwa du du duwa du du duwa du (repeat verse 2) du du duwa du du duwa du du duwa du |

You know, I really ought to bother to find another album, since I've done the good songs from this one. |
I had a long dream Where I was following you, And you were walking in line right in front of me. Alarm clock bell, Please wait just a little bit longer. du du duwa du du duwa du du duwa du ......... While in the blue sky. du du duwa du du duwa du du duwa du
it's present tense on the chorus. and it's "while looking at the blue sky". and i thought it sounded more like du du duru du du duru du du duru du. yup. also, i think it'd be more: "I am dreaming a long dream. You are with me, and we walk together as we should." because atarimae ni means "correctly" or "naturally", and nerande can also mean next to or side-by-side. and it's not "Alarm clock bell, Please wait just a little bit longer." it's more "I still want the alarm's bell to wait just a little longer." i'll post my translation once i finish all the touch-ups. |

Will my story have a happy end, or is there no love for me? I wonder if you will be gone when it finishes. I'm dreaming a long dream, and you are there with me. In my dream, the two of us are walking side-by-side just as we should. I still want the alarm's bell to wait just a little longer. I missed my chance, and it's like i'm at the end of my rope, just waiting for the fall. The balance that you gained was shaking every day. I believed you could finish the puzzle, and you did it so skillfully while looking at the blue sky. I'm dreaming a long dream, and you are there with me. In my dream, the two of us are walking side-by-side just as we should. I still want the alarm's bell to wait just a little longer. sorry i took so long, we have ap tests coming up, so i've been cramming a LOT. |

i meant to look at this a long time ago... not bad, mare. 愛のないアン・ハッピーエンド Will my story have a happy end, or is there no love for me? i'm not happy with this interpretation because i can't justify it, but i can't think of anything better either... The balance that you gained was shaking every day. not sure that's right. i think 'kimi to baransu totte' = the balance i have with you / i'm balanced with you. baransu (wo) toru = to balance. and it's like i'm at the end of my rope - tsunawatari refers to tightrope walking, or a balancing act- not quite the same as dangling from the end of a rope. I believed you could finish the puzzle - i would say 'solve' here. it's more natural. also unless 'kimi' is stated, i would assume that he's talking about himself- he solved the puzzle. i also feel that the 'while i'm looking at the sky' part might lead into the 'i was dreaming a long dream' rather than that he was looking at the sky while solving the puzzle. |

I puzzled over the first line forever. i finallyt just said enough and left it at that. the thing with "tsunawatari" - i couldn't find tsunawatari, but i saw it was a combination of "rope" and "to extend" or something...so i really guessed there. and you're right, solved fits better with the puzzle. and i went with you still cause he had started the verse with "kimi"...and i didn't think too deeply on it. so "kimi to baransu totte / yureteita hibi" would be more like "the balance you gave me was shaking every day"? |

this is better, i think, though still not perfect. Will my story have a happy end, or is there no love for me? I wonder if you will be gone when it finishes. I'm dreaming a long dream, and you are there with me. In my dream, the two of us are walking side-by-side just as we should. I still want the alarm's bell to wait just a little longer.
