I think somebody on Moletown found a translation of tsuyogari, so I'm sure if you scour the net a bit you could find one, but I'll probably take a shot at it eventually since I like the song.

Lurk more? I'd assume that if I were looking for the lyrics to a cover song, I'd search for it on a site other than the fansite of the band that covered it. tsuyogari is a Mr. Children cover. Where have you been?

I guess. Although I've been lurking here for over a year... And I've never heard of Mr. Children. I guess I should probably check them out.

They're wildly popular in Japan, but are as far to the pop end of pop-rock as you can get.

Look it up in the lyrics section, under (or is it below?) "turn back (2004)" Spoiler: they're kinda depressing

Re: Any songs need translation? (requests inside)
I think there is a slight misunderstanding here. I meant the lyric section of pirouzu.net , not the forum. (in the upperside of the page) I can't link, because if you go there it still says: "pirouzu.net."
Me and you and Mr. Moon
'The moon is so beautiful tonight' you said On the other end of the phone But I can't find my glasses So my eyes can't see it so bright
This has happened so many times before Even though we look at the same thing I see something different than everyone else Something different
But I want to see the same thing you look at now If I'd just hold my tongue, if I could just stop- that's what I'll do
'The moon is so beautiful tonight' you said On the other end of the phone From my window, from your window Even though it should be the same, the scenery is different
This has happened so many times before Even though we look at the same thing I see something different than everyone else Something different
But I want to see the same thing you look at now If I'd just hold my tongue, if I could just stop- that's what I'll do
I want you to know, I want you to understand I don't want to lie, and yet I'm raising my voice So I'll be alone again, I won't be able to sleep But can I really say that's all right?
So then, I just want to keep dreaming The same dream with you, just like this If I'd just hold my tongue, if I could just stop- that's what I'll do

Thanks Ashinow, and yeah I thought you meant the forum lyrics section

Re: Any songs need translation? (requests inside)
On the lyrics section of pirouzu.net proper... there is a line in trip dancer: Tadori tsuita darekaga nokoshitte itta hata ni Muragaru nante gehin na shikitari sa
The translation in English that is given is: To flock around the flag that someone who has found his way has left is a disgusting custom
The translation seems a bit odd... what do you guys think? And any idea what Sawao could have meant with this line?

Re: Any songs need translation? (requests inside)
He's saying "It's a pathetic tradition, flocking to the flags left behind by those who made it."
Once again, Sawao saying "choose your own damn path, don't try to imitate others to find yourself."

Re: Any songs need translation? (requests inside)
Sawao throws references to musicians he loves into his work all the time and has played covers in the past. No irony in being true to yourself and expressing your gratitude towards a band by covering their work.
